What makes me so special that I think I’m qualified to comment on the world at large and be taken seriously?

I’m a male, 60 years old and I’ve been around. I’ve had more experiences than most people will have in three lifetimes.

Unfortunately, I’m also, supposedly, highly intelligent but you couldn’t always prove that by my actions. They made sense to me at the time but to others some of my actions will never make sense.

I have a huge amount of curiosity. Lol, I would have said an inordinate amount but I’m not writing this for those who use big words. Keep it as simple as possible is my motto.

That curiosity has made me a well educated person even tho I only finished 9th grade. Experience is a great teacher. Besides, I had my GED before my high school class graduated.

I’ve had money a few times and been homeless once. I’ve flown first class and I’ve hopped freight trains, hitchhiked or walked, to get around the country. I’ve been in 49 of the 50 states and 7 different countries.

I’m more of a people watcher than anything. I’m always curious about why people do what they do. Once upon a time I was a master manipulate but I finally gave that up. I’d have been great in marketing or psychology.

I tend to trust my intuition more than most people. That’s always caused me a few problems because it makes it very hard to explain how I know what I know. I just know isn’t an acceptable explanation to most people. So I waste a lot of my time working backwards from what I know so I can explain it to those I think worth bothering with.

On the Myers Briggs Personality Type I’m an INTJ. I’m not going to explain it to you, you can go look it up if you want to know.

I’m old, although 60 is the new 50, and I’ve been around, a lot. That qualifies me to do whatever I think is the right thing to do.

I think what I write here is the right thing to do. It’s my right and I’m taking advantage of it. Just as you have a right to disagree with anything I might say. Take advantage of that, if you dare.
