Superbugs kill more people than aids

November 1st, 2007 by Old Dude Medical

What if I told you there was a virus or germ out there that was killing more people than AIDS? Would you believe it? You damn well better believe it because it’s true.

Funny how we still get all the AIDS ads on TV and other media yet fewer people are dying from AIDs than from bugs resistant to antibiotics. Even worse, you don’t have to be a drug user or have sex to get them.

Why is this information being kept so quiet. Yeaj, I know, then people wouldn’t go to hospitals. Can’t say as I blame them for that. I don’t go to hospitals. Always hated the places. People die there.

Who wants to go to the hospital to have a simple appendectomy and die? Not from complications with the appendectomy, that all went fine. What kills is the damn infections you can get in hospitals.

MSRA kills more people than AIDS. There are other super bugs out there that kill even faster. Why hasn’t the govt told us much of anything about this. Why isn’t the news media telling us more about it? Why are we still getting ads to prevent AIDS yet none to solve this problem? Why hasn’t the CDC issued general public health warnings about the problem?

Maybe because the problem can’t be solved.  If you want to know more you can read it here. Super Bugs Kill More People than AIDS I don’t know about you but I think it would be nice if our own govt was warning us about these things rather than caving to insurance companies and other big medical related businesses.

Check out how things are for medical practices in India. Seems they are light years ahead of the USA. I suspect if I ever need a major operation India is where I’ll be heading to get it.
