Can Barack Obama beat John McCain?
If Barack Obama wins the presidency over John McCain I’ll be one of the most surprised people in the world. Why will I be surprised when I shouldn’t be? Because we are a nation of scared Sheeple. Sheeple is a combo word. Sheep plus people makes for Sheeple.
While the Sheeple of this country may want a change from the current policies, lol, who doesn’t, even the Republicans know there is a huge problem and want a change. Sheesh.
Personally I don’t think Obama hgas the experience to lead the country. He just hasn’t been around long enough or know enough to be effective. Remember the last President we elected who was going to learn the job as he went and also appoint smart people to advise him?
Don’t tell me you forgot already. Heh, he’s still the president and you can see what happens when we elect an inexperienced college graduate who thought drugs and booze were a major. While Obama may be smarter than Bush, (I’d love to see Bush on “Are you smarter than a 5th grader?”) he doesn’t have the experience he needs, either.
Obama’s religion is going to be an issue. Yes, I know he is a Christian and not a Muslim, however no matter how many times he says he is a Christian half the Sheeple in this country don’t believe him. Reverand Wright may also be a Christian but his ranting about “Damn America” and the other things hes said in the past make him seem more like a radical muslim fundamentalist of the Taliban ilk rather than an American minister.
With Obama being a member of his congregation for 20 some years and with his name sounding so much like Osama, Barack is in big trouble with that issue. The Sheeple aren’t smart enough to distinguish the difference between Muslim and Christian when it’s about a black man with a Muslim sounding name.
It’s frustrating for me and I’m sure it’s even more frustrating for Obama, when you can tell people the truth and they agree with you that it is the truth but their opinion doesn’t change. That’s Obama’s problem in a nutshell.
That’s the funny thing about Sheeple. They defy all logic and all truth to cling to the stupid things they believe, even when they acknowledge the beliefs are wrong. They just don’t change. The Sheeple are consumed with fear and it’s an easy way for the Republicans to manipulate them and you can be sure the Republicans will use that fear.
I suspect Obama will get the nomination and lose the presidential election. Hillary Clinton won’t get the nomination but could win the election. The Sheeple of this country have to much distrust of anyone different from them and anyone who they think has a radically different religion from theirs.
Hillary has two built in advantages. She’s white and she’s Christian and people know that. Of course she has to carry Bill around as baggage but I suspect Bill isn’t as big a disadvantage as being thought a Muslim.
My conclusion, at this time, is that due to Democratic fighting Obama will get the nomination and McCain will win.
