Obama and McCain and Obama’s inexperience

Obama’s inexperience is showing and showing badly. He publicly chided McCain for saying we could be mired in Iraq for another hundred years without thinking about the facts at all.

Well, I have a few questions for senator Obama. How long have we had a prescence in Germany? How long have we been mired in Korea. Both have been for 60 years or more so why is it so impossible we could be mired in Iraq for one hell of a long time.

Those who don’t know or understand history can’t really make effective changes.  Change just for the sake of change is not always a good thing nor should all things always be changed.

Now obviously some changes need to be made in this contry. First we have to decide if we are going to be the world cop, or not. Then we need healthcare for everyone, a livable minimum wage, better schooling for our kids and we need to clean up the environement.

We need to wean ourselves from fossil fuels and if Senator Obama wan’ts us out of Iraq because we are going to be there for to long then he needs to get the troops out of Korea, Germany and the other places we’ve stayed since WW2.

I’m not sure Obama has the experience to know the realities behind all the situations this country is in. Change is a simplistic slogan and change without understanding the consequences is irrational and absurd.
