Osama, Obama, bitter, guns, religion and Rev? Wright
I see a lot of people have been calling Obama, Osama. Slip of the tongue or Freudian slip? Seems Freudian to me. Lol, it even happened at one of his speechs. I found it highly amusing.
Obama’s campaign stated a few weeks ago. ‘Senator Obama is proud of his pastor and his church’. Now isn;t that intersting since the Rev Wright sounds more like Osama Bin Laden that Osama bin Laden does.
Wright sounds more like a radical Muslim or Taliban leader than he does an American minister. Even worse, Obama had been his student and a member of his congregation for 20 years or so.
Obama also said that the people were bitter and clinging to their guns and their religion because of the hard times there. Where have Obama’s hard time been? He seems to be clinging to a fundementally flawed pastor that he should have disavowed when Rev. Wrights radical statements forst came out.
MOF, it’s not impossible Rev. Wright should be arrested for advocating terrorism and overthrow of the US govt. Yet Obama clings to him just as he says people in PA cling to their religion. Hopefully the religions the people of PA are clinging to aren’t as radical as Obama’s ministers. Hopefully much less radical and much less Talibanish.
Perhaps the good Revs of PA actually try to help their flocks instead of blaming the govt for all of their problems and damning America. That would be in line with what the Bible calls for.
As for bitter. Hell, everyone in this country shoud be bitter. When you been screwed for such a long time, lied to for such a long time and had some of your rights usurped who the hell wouldn’t be bitter? Govt did that. Osama, oops, Obama is part of the Govt and therefore part of the problem, not a part of the solution.
As for clinging to guns. You damn right. That’s not a bad thing as Obama tried to make it out to be. First off, we are all guaranteed the right to bear arms so that makes the question ‘Does Obama want to take our guns away?’.
Maybe he should get out of the senate a bit more and go see what people really do with guns. Lol, hopefully he won’t go hunting with Cheney, tho. Some people have guns so hey can help feed themselvs and their families.
Others have guns to protect themselves from other people and from the govt. Considering what Bush has done to us for the last 7 years I’d say that the smart people have guns. It’s become patently obvious our own govt can’t be trusted anymore.
Yep, I’m bitter.
